Brightly-colored fentanyl (referred to as rainbow fentanyl) has been identified as a new trend according to the United States (U.S.) Drug Enforcement Agency

Any pill (regardless of its color, shape, or size) that does not come from a health care provider or pharmacist can contain fentanyl and can be deadly. For more information you can visit the DEA website here: https://www.dea.gov/press-releases/2022/08/30/dea-warns-brightly-colored-fentanyl-used-target-young-americans

*Urgent Dismissal Change*
Starting tomorrow (Tue. 9/13), Students who are dismissed as WALKERS will have a different procedure than they have been used to this year. From now on, Walkers will exit the school through the brown gate near the bus circle on Farmdale Street. Students will be escorted to the corner of Farmdale and Krystal by a proctor and supervised by teachers along the route.
(If your student has been a walker in the past, this will be familiar as it is the way Walkers have dismissed in the past)
It is very important to recognize that parents now need to wait for their children in the dirt lot at the corner crosswalk or in the dirt lot behind the school. Please support our process and the safety of all students by waiting in these designated areas and NOT in the bus circle, school parking lot, or along the sidewalks. If you would like to change your student to be "walk-up" or "drive-up" for dismissal, please fill out the dismissal change form linked below.
