Comet Club 360
As a fun follow up for students that earn CC360 each quarter, we will choose random Fridays throughout the year to call up students that are wearing their CC360 tags to grab a treat or participate in a quick activity. Be sure to wear your current CC360 tags on our spirit wear Fridays!

Fall Fest Raffle Baskets!
Get your raffle tickets for our amazing Fall Fest Raffle Baskets! PTC will be selling tickets before and after school on Wed 10/16 and Thur 10/17. You may view the baskets and purchase tickets at the library door located near the kinder playground entrance. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Fall Fest, Friday night. $1 per ticket, cash only.

The Great California Shakeout
On October 17th, our school will participate in the Great California ShakeOut, the largest earthquake drill in U.S. History. Everyone will practice how to drop, cover and hold on, and teachers will discuss the importance of earthquake preparedness with our students. Our first Comet Club 360 event was so much fun and we are excited for our second Comet Club 360 event coming up in December! We wanted to remind all students of the expectations in order to earn CC360 each quarter. Students who earn CC360 will receive a cool tag to wear and get to participate in a fun activity. There are four opportunities to participate throughout the year. Fortunately, all students receive a “fresh start” every quarter! If a student does not earn CC360 for one quarter, they get to try their very best to be safe, respectful, and responsible and earn CC360 the next quarter.

HUSD elementary schools are on regular schedule today. We do not have a minimum day like the secondary schools do. We will see you at 3:27 for dismissal.

HUSD is excited to partner with Think Together to offer fun activities, enrichment and care during the upcoming fall break, October 7-11th. Krystal Spirit Day
In honor of Patriot Day on September 11th, wear red, white and blue! Students participating in the spirit day may wear jeans. Students not participating in the spirit day must follow the Krystal Dress Code.
It’s our final week of our PTC Membership Drive! Be sure to turn in your application and $5 by the end of the week. When you sign up for PTC, you help support Comet Club 360, field trips, art supplies, field days, assemblies, PE equipment and much more! Paid members will receive a membership card that can be stamped at volunteer events making you eligible for a raffle at the end of the school year.
