Krystal's PTC will be selling Spirit Wear on Wednesday, after school near our walk-up pick-up area (Sept. 4th @ 2:15). If you don't already have a Krystal shirt, now is the time to get one!
We are excited for Krystal's first Comet Club 360 event coming up in October! We wanted to remind all students of the expectations in order to earn CC360. Students who earn CC360 will receive a cool tag to wear and get to participate in a fun activity. There are four opportunities to participate throughout the year. Fortunately, all students receive a “fresh start” every quarter! If a student does not earn CC360 for one quarter, they get to try their very best to be safe, respectful, and responsible and earn CC360 the next quarter.
No office behavior referral forms
No more than 2 behavior notices (white slips) for classroom and playground behavior
No more than 3 absences of any kind for each quarter (Exception: If a student misses three or more consecutive days, he/she may be exempted if a parent provides a doctor’s note)
No more than 3 tardies/early outs (All tardies/early outs count, regardless of time signed in or out)
No more than 3 “dress code violation” slips
Complete 90% of their classwork and homework on time
When dropping off students in the morning, please use the drop-off lane that is directly in front of the school. When using the drop off lane, parents should not drop students off in the outside lane. However, cars are permitted to use the outside lane to park in the parking lot and/or as a pass thru to exit the school.
Additionally, the parking lot is not a drop off area, please park and use designated cross walks to walk your child to the gate. And just a reminder that the bus circle is no longer a drop-off or pick-up area, do not use the driveway to drop off students.
We thank you in helping with keeping all Krystal students safe and appreciate your patience during our busy morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.
Support Ranchero Middle School by stopping by and donating blood on Wednesday! Appointment times are full but they will gladly accept walk-ins.

We are very happy to announce that Mrs. Shannon Garibay will serve as Krystal School's new principal. Mrs. Garibay is excited to meet our students and families. Please help us welcome her to the best school in the high desert. We also wish Mrs. Amanda Arceo well in her new role as the Coordinator of Professional Development and Induction at the district office.
Hesperia Unified School District is pleased to announce that we will be using the Raptor Visitor Management System in all of our schools as part of our campus safety programs for students and faculty. All visitors, volunteers, and visiting staff will be asked to present a government-issued ID, such as a Driver’s License, state ID, etc. The Raptor system only checks the visitor's name and date of birth for comparison with a national database of registered sex offenders. No other data from the ID is gathered or recorded. The system is not connected to any other database such as the Department of Motor Vehicles, and information is not shared with any outside agency.
This implementation will help increase the efficiency in our offices, allowing District-approved volunteers to spend their valuable time in classrooms instead of in the front office. Thank you, in advance, for your support in enhancing safety in our schools.

We look forward to welcoming you back to school on August 12! Here are a few changes you need to know about for the first day of school.
-Due to the need for bus service for our autism program, the side parking lot has returned to its original purpose of a bus circle. This is no longer a parking lot or drop off area. Please do not enter the bus circle at any time. Walker gate will remain the same.
-Due to changes to the district program, Krystal School will no longer offer Saturday School.
-Look for information to come home regarding our new process for visitors signing in. Don’t forget your ID any time you plan on visiting or volunteering on our campus.
